General Bird Training Course

Announcing – General Bird Training training course for eligible FAWNA members

Date: Saturday, 25 May 2024
Time: 9am to 4pm
Venue: Taree Showground
Cost: $10.00 per person and $5 for each extra person.

Bookings are now open for the General Bird Training Course, to be presented by Hunter Wildlife for inexperienced or new bird carers.

Topics to be covered are

• ID
• Care
• Housing
• Illnesses and
• what things you see and why we don’t repair badly broken wings and legs.

Norma Henderson’s Manuals, Australian Bird Rehabilitation and Chicks, Nestlings & Fledglings of Australian Birds are now available for pre-order.

The manuals cost $35 each but are not mandatory. Should you wish to place an order for one or both of these manuals please contact Gail Whitwell, by email at agwhitwell@bigpond.com to place your orders, manuals are limited at this time so get in quick.

Refreshments and luncheon are provided at no cost but members with special dietary requirements are asked to self-cater.
